A SECTION OF KING EDWARD STREET, GRIMSBY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 20-109 ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from proceeding along the below sections of highway:
A section of KING EDWARD STREET – Part Length from its junction with FOTHERBY STREET, for a distance of 40meters (Up to, be not including vehicle access point to VICTORIA RETAIL PARK)
Alternative route: KING EDWARD STREET, CRESSEY STREET, A16 VICTORIA STREET, MARKET STREET, KING EDWARD STREET and the reverse.
This temporary prohibition is requited to support coronavirus social distancing measures.
The Order will come into operation on Saturday, 05 September 2020, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport. The closure is expected to be only during the hours of 14:00hours – 23:00hrs every Saturday and 13:00hrs – 23:00hrs every Sunday until Sunday, 20 December 2020.
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published at One Network and on Public Notices.
