THE NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(a)

FISH DOCK ROAD LEVEL CROSSING – ROWLANDSON STREET, GRIMSBY

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 22-021) ORDER 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:

A section of ROWLANDSON STREET, GRIMSBY – Part Length from a point 20 metres northeast of the FISH DOCK ROAD LEVEL CROSSING to a point 20 metres southwest of the FISH DOCK ROAD LEVEL CROSSING.

Alternative route (1): EASTSIDE ROAD, ROYAL STREET, LOCKHILL ROAD, LOCKHILL ROUNDABOUT, A180 CLEETHORPE ROAD, RIBY SQUARE

Alternative route (2): RIBY SQUARE, RIBY STREET, HUMBER STREET, A180 CLEETHORPE ROAD, LOCKHILL ROUNDABOUT, LOCKHILL ROAD, EASTSIDE ROAD

This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by Network Rail.  These works are detailed as level crossing maintenance.

Works will be undertaken overnight between 23:30hrs and 08:30hrs to minimise disruption to traffic flows.

The Order will come into operation on Saturday, 16 April 2022, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until 08:30hrs on Sunday, 17 April 2022.  Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.

The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
