VARIOUS LOCATIONS – LEVEL CROSSING ANNUAL BARRIER TESTING AND ASSOCIATED MAINTENANCE
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 22-028) ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway on the following dates:
Monday 09th May 2022 between 07:00hrs and 15:00hrs
- A section of WOAD LANE, GRIMSBY – Part Length from a point 20 metres north of WOAD LANE LEVEL CROSSING to a point 20 metres south WOAD LANE LEVEL CROSSING.
Alternative route: MOODY LANE, GILBEY ROAD, A180 PYEWIPE ROUNDABOUT, ESTATE ROAD 1
Tuesday 10th May 2022 between 07:00hrs and 15:00hrs
- A section of SOUTH MARSH LANE BRIDLEWAY, STALLINGBOROUGH – Part Length from a point 20 metres south-east of SOUTH MARSH LANE LEVEL CROSSING to a point 20 metres east of SOUTH MARSH LANE LEVEL CROSSING.
Alternative route: HOBSON WAY, KILN LANE, NORTH MOSS LANE
Wednesday 11th May 2022 between 07:00hrs and 15:00hrs
- A section of KILN LANE, STALLINGBOROUGH – Part Length from a point 20 metres south-west of KILN LANE LEVEL CROSSING to the roundabout junction with HOBSON WAY / LAPORTE ROAD.
Alternative route: LAPORTE ROAD, QUEENS ROAD, KINGS ROAD, A1173
Saturday 14th May 2022 23:30hrs to Sunday 15th May 2022 08:30hrs
- A section of A1173 STALLINGBOROUGH ROAD, STALLINGBOROUGH – Part Length from a point 20 metres north-west of LITTLE LONDON LEVEL CROSSING to a point 20 metres south-east of LITTLE LONDON LEVEL CROSSING.
Alternative route: A1173 RIBY ROAD, A18 BARTON STREET, B1211, B1211 BROCKLESBY ROAD, B1210 BROCKLESBY, B1210 STATION ROAD, B1210 IMMINGHAM ROAD, B1210 HABROUGH ROAD, B1210 STALLINGBOROUGH ROAD
This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by Network Rail. These works are detailed as level crossing maintenance and annual barrier testing.
The Order will come into operation on Monday, 09 May 2022, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closures are expected to remain in place until 08:30hrs on Sunday, 15 May 2022. Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
