TAYLORS AVENUE & SURROUNDING STREETS, CLEETHORPES
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 22-086) ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:
Monday 26th September to Saturday 29th October 2022 – 24hr Road Closure
- A section of WENDOVER RISE – Part Length from its junction with TAYLORS AVENUE to a point 20 metres north-west of its junction with TAYLORS AVENUE.
- A section of LINDSEY ROAD – Part Length from its junction with TAYLORS AVENUE to a point 20 metres north-west of its junction with TAYLORS AVENUE.
- A section of PARKER STREET – Part Length from its junction with TAYLORS AVENUE to a point 20 metres north-west of its junction with TAYLORS AVENUE.
- A section of HEY STREET – Part Length from its junction with TAYLORS AVENUE to a point 20 metres north-west of its junction with TAYLORS AVENUE.
Alternative route: A1098 TAYLORS AVENUE, TRINITY ROAD, SHERBURN STREET, THRUNSCOE ROAD
Monday 17th October to Saturday 29th October 2022 – 24hr Road Closure
- A section of CHICHESTER ROAD – Part Length from its junction with TAYLORS AVENUE to a point 50 metres south-east of its junction with TAYLORS AVENUE.
Alternative route: A1098 TAYLORS AVENUE, A1098 QUEENS PARADE, KINGSWAY, KINGS ROAD, CHICHESTER ROAD
Monday 24th October to Saturday 29th October 2022 – Overnight Closure (19:00hrs to 06:00hrs)
- A section of TAYLORS AVENUE – Part Length from its junction with THRUNSCOE ROAD / HARDYS ROAD to a point 90 metres south-west of its junction with CHICHESTER ROAD.
Alternative route 1: A1098 TAYLORS AVENUE, HUMBERSTON ROAD, CLEE ROAD, ISAACS HILL, HIGH STREET, ALEXANDRA ROAD, HIGH CLIFF ROAD, KINGSWAY, QUEENS PARADE
Alternative route 2: CHICHESTER ROAD, KINGS ROAD, KINGSWAY, QUEENS PARADE
These temporary prohibitions are required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by North East Lincolnshire Council. These works are detailed as carriageway resurfacing, drainage and channel works.
The Order will come into operation on Monday, 26 September 2022, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Saturday, 29 October 2022. Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
