WELLOWGATE LEVEL CROSSING – WELLOWGATE, GRIMSBY
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 22-100) ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council have made, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:
- A section of WELLOWGATE – Part Length from a point 20 metres north of WELLOWGATE LEVEL CROSSING to a point 20 metres south of WELLOWGATE LEVEL CROSSING.
Alternative route 1: WELLOWGATE, DUCHESS STREET, GARDEN STREET, ABBEY WALK, OSBORNE STREET, SOUTH ST MARYS GATE, BETHLEHEM STREET, WELLOWGATE
Alternative route 2: BETHLEHEM STREET, SOUTH ST MARYS GATE, GARDEN STREET, DUCHESS STREET, WELLOWGATE
This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by Network Rail. These works are detailed as maintenance works at level crossing.
Works will be undertaken overnight between 23:30hrs and 08:30hrs to minimise disruption to traffic.
The Order will come into operation on Saturday, 29 October 2022, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until 08:30am on Sunday, 30 October 2022. Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
