ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(a)
LITTLEFIELD LANE LEVEL CROSSING – LITTLEFIELD LANE, GRIMSBY
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 22-106) ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:
- A section of LITTLEFIELD LANE- Part Length from a point 20 metres north-east of LITTLEFIELD LANE LEVEL CROSSING to a point 20 metres south-west of LITTLEFIELD LANE LEVEL CROSSING.
Alternative route 1: DUDLEY STREET, CARTERGATE, QUEENS PARADE REAR ACCESS ROAD, LITTLEFIELD LANE
Alternative route 2: LITTLEFIELD LANE, CRESCENT STREET, A1136 FREDERICK WARD WAY, A1136 DEANSGATE OVERBRIDGE, A1136 DUDLEY STREET
This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by Network Rail. These works are detailed as annual level crossing barrier test.
Works will be undertaken overnight between 23:00hrs and 05:00hrs to limit disruption to traffic.
The Order will come into operation on Friday, 14 October 2022, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until 05:00hrs on Saturday, 15 October 2022. Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
