THE NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(a)

LITTLE LONDON LEVEL CROSSING,STALLINGBOROUGH ROAD

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 23-020) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:

A section of STALLINGBOROUGH ROAD – Part length from a point 20 metres South East of LITTLE LONDON LEVEL CROSSING to a point 20 metres North West of LITTLE LONDON LEVEL CROSSING.

Alternative route: A1173 Stallingborough Road, A1173 Riby Road, A18 Barton Street, B1211 Brocklesby Road, B1210 Brocklesby Road, Station Road, Immingham Road, Habrough Road

This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by Network Rail. These works are detailed as Level Crossing Maintenance and Annual Barrier Test & Associated Maintenance.

An initial road closure will take place on Saturday 22nd April 2023 for the Level Crossing Maintenance and Annual Barrier Test between 23:30pm and 08:30am on the Sunday 23rd April 2023, once complete the road will be reopened. A further road closure will then be implemented on Saturday 6th May 2023 for another Level Crossing Maintenance and Annual Barrier Test. This closures are expected to take place between the hours of 23:30pm and 09:15pm Sunday 7th May 2023.

The Order will come into operation on Saturday, 22 April 2023, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Sunday, 23 April 2023. Definitive dates and times will be notified with on-site advanced warning signs.

The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
