ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(a)
WELHOLME ROAD, GRIMSBY
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 23-054) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, from PROCEEDING along on the below sections of highway:
A section of WELHOLME ROAD – Part Length from its junction of FAREBROTHER STREET from the south-western property boundary of 86 WELHOLME ROAD heading 30 metres in a westerly direction to the north-eastern property boundary of 84 WELHOLME ROAD.
Alternative route: Welholme Road, Legsby Avenue, Patrick Street, Farebrother Street.
This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by O’Connors LTD. These works are detailed as Development S728 works, to install a road crossing.
The Order will come into operation on Monday, 15 May 2023, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Tuesday, 30 May 2023. Definitive dates and times will be notified with on-site advanced warning signs.
