THE NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(a)

VARIOUS LOCATIONS – SURFACE DRESSING PREPATCHING
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND STOPPING & TEMPORARY REVOCATION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC FLOW – TTRO 22-017) ORDER 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council have made, an Order, the effect of which will be:

a) that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle from PROCEEDING along or STOPPING on the below sections of highway:

Lengths of road within Cleethorpes

  • CROWHILL AVENUE – Full extent

Alternative route: NO DIVERSION AVAILABLE, DEAD-END ROAD

  • GLEBE ROAD – Full extent

Alternative route: NO DIVERSION

  • WEST STREET – Full extent

Alternative route: MILL ROAD, ST PETERS AVENUE, CHARLES STREET

  • A section of GEORGE STREET – Part Length from its junction with ST PETERS AVENUE to a point 24 metres north-east of its junction with CHAPMAN GROVE

Alternative route: ST PETERS AVENUE, CHARLES STREET, CHAPMAN GROVE

  • A section of PARKER STREET – Part Length from its junction with TAYLORS AVENUE to its junction with SHERBURN STREET

Alternative route: TAYLORS AVENUE, LINDSEY ROAD, SHERBURN STREET

  • HEY STREET – Full extent

  • ALBERT ROAD – Full extent

  • HUMBER STREET – Full extent

Alternative route: CAMBRIDGE STREET, KNOLL STREET, HIGH CLIFF ROAD

  • A section of HIGHGATE – Part Length from its roundabout junction with ST PETERS AVENUE / OXFORD STREET to its junction with CAMBRIDGE STREET

  • OOLE ROAD – Full extent

Lengths of road within Stallingborough

  • A section of NORTH MOSS LANE – Part Length from a point 595 metres south-east of its roundabout junction with KILN LANE to its junction with SOUTH MARSH ROAD.

Alternative route: SOUTH MARSH ROAD, STATION ROAD, STALLINGBOROUGH ROAD, MATTHEW FORD WAY, A1173, KILN LANE, NORTH MOSS LANE

Lengths of road within Immingham

  • CLYFTON CRESCENT – Full extent

Alternative route: WINSLOW DRIVE, PELHAM ROAD, BLUESTONE LANE, LANSDOWN ROAD

  • A section of WOODLANDS AVENUE – Part Length from its junction with BLUESTONE LANE to a point 62 metres north-east of its junction with BEECHWOOD AVENUE

Alternative route: NO DIVERSION AVAILABLE

The above temporary prohibitions are required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by North East Lincolnshire Council.  These works are detailed as pre-patching carriageway repairs. Works will be undertaken on a phased basis to limit disruption to traffic flows in the affected areas.

b) to temporarily revoke the one-way traffic flow restriction in place on the below sections of highway:

  • A section of BOWLING LANE, CLEETHORPES – Part Length from its junction with ST PETERS AVENUE to its junction with GLEBE ROAD.

The above temporary alteration to traffic flow is necessary to facilitate the egress of vehicles from BOWLING LANE whilst works listed above are undertaken in neighbouring GLEBE ROAD, under a road closure.

The Order will come into operation on Monday, 21 March 2022, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Friday, 08 April 2022.  Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.

The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online at: One Network and NELC Public Notices.
