ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (SPECIAL EVENTS) – SECTION 16A
THE BIG PERFORMANCE – GARIBALDI STREET, GRIMSBY (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 23-082) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be that on Friday 21st July 23 and Saturday 22nd July 23
a) no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, from PROCEEDING along or STOPPING on the below sections of highway between 17:00 hrs and 23:00hrs over the 2 days above:
- GARIBALDI STREET – FULL EXTENT
- DUNCOMBE STREET – from the junction of ALBION STREET heading in a westerly direction to the junction of WERNETH ROAD.
DIVERSION ROUTE: B1213 Freeman Street, Wellington Street and Albion Street (Reverse route applies)
The above temporary prohibitions are required to safely set up and facilitate the big production theatre dance performance by Magna Vitae Trust.
The Order will come into operation on Friday, 21 July 2023, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding three days unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the event (whichever is the earlier). The closures are expected to remain in place until no later than 11pm on Saturday, 22 July 2023. Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online at: One Network and NELC Public Notices.
