Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2020 – TTRO 20-074, Immingham Level Crossing

THE NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

NR0469 (B1210) BROCKLESBY ROAD, STATION ROAD, HABROUGH AND ROXTON SIDINGS, ROXTON ROAD, IMMINGHAM, LEVEL CROSSINGS
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 20-074) ORDER 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to proceed along the below sections of highway:

A Section of B1210, Brocklesby Road, NR0469 Habrough Level Crossing

Wednesday 8 July 23:00hrs to 06:00hrs Thursday 9 July 2020

– from its junction with Newsham Lane and West End Road (for a distance of 30 meters)

A Section of Roxton Road, Roxton Sidings Level Crossing

Thursday 9 July 23:00hrs to 06:00hrs Friday 10 July 2020

– from its junction with B1210 Stallingborough Road and Stallingborough Road (for a distance of 30 meters)

Access for Emergency Vehicles will be maintained.  An alternative route for motor vehicles is that of ROXTON ROAD, STALLINGBOROUGH ROAD, A1173 STALLINGBOROUGH ROAD, B1210 STALLINGBOROUGH ROAD, ROXTON ROAD

This temporary prohibition is required in order to safely undertake works to renew circuit controllers at the level crossing.

The Order will come into operation on Wednesday, 08 July 2020, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Friday, 10 July 2020.
