EARL STREET AND SURROUNDING STREETS, WEST MARSH CPZ, GRIMSBY
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 21-105_LA) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council have made an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, from PROCEEDING along or STOPPING on the below sections of highway;
- A section of EARL STREET – Full Length from its junction with LITTLEFIELD LANE to its junction with WATERSIDE DRIVE
- A section of DOVER STREET – Full Length from its junction with EARL STREET to its junction with RIPON STREET
- A section of RIPON STREET – Full Length from its junction with VERE TERRACE to its junction with CHANTRY LANE
- A section of LORD STREET – Full Length from its junction with CATERGATE to its junction with RIPON STREET
- A section of NEW CARTERGATE – Full Length from its junction with LORD STREET to its CULDESAC END
- A section of CARTERGATE – Full Length from its junction with CHANTRY LANE to its junction with LORD STREET
- A section of VEAL STREET – Full Length from its junction with CHANTRY LANE to its junction with LORD STREET
- A section of CRESCENT STREET – Full Length from its junction with EARL STREET to its junction with CARTERGAT
- A section of CHANTRY LANE – Full Length from its junction with CARTERGATE to its CULDESAC END
- A section of MANDELA LINK – Full Length from its junction with MACAULAY STREET to its junction with CHANTRY LANE
- A section of MACAULAY STREET – Part Length from its junction with CARTERGATE to its junction with HAYCROFT AVENUE
- A section of QUEENS PARADE REAR ACCESS ROAD – Full Length from its junction with LITTLEFIELD LANE to its junction with CARTERGATE
- A section of LITTLEFIELD LANE – Full Length from its junction with EARL STREET to its LITTLEFIELD LANE LEVEL CROSSING
Alternative route: VARIOUS ROUTES WILL BE SIGNPOSTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ON SITE SIGNS DISPLAYING DEFINITIVE DATES OF CLOSURES
This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL. These works are detailed as signing and lining works to facilitate the installation of a new Traffic Scheme.
The Order will come into operation on Monday, 20 September 2021, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Monday, 27 September 2021. Definitive dates and times will be notified by press release and on-site advanced warning signs.
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
