(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 20-115) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council have made, an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from proceeding along the below sections of highway:
OVERNIGHT NR0012 – A section of PASTURE STREET – Part Length from its junction with EAST STREET to its junction with EASTGATE
Alternative route: PASTURE STREET, HAINTON AVENUE, ELLIS WAY, VICTORIA STREET SOUTH
Alternative route: ABBEY WALK, OSBOURNE STREET, BETHLEHEM STREET, WELLOWGATE, DUCHESS STREET, GRDEN STREET
Alternative route: LITTLEFIELD LANE, A1136 DUDLEY STREET, A1136 DEANSGATE, FREDERICK WARD WAY, CARTERGATE, CRESCENT STREET, LITTLEFIELD LANE
Alternative route: WELLOWGATE, DUCHESS STREET, GRDEN STREET, ABBEY WALK, OSBOURNE STREET, BETHLEHEM STREET, WELLOWGATE
Alternative route: CARTERGATE, FREDERICK WARD WAY, A1136 DEANSGATE, CARTERGATE
This temporary prohibition is requited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by Network Rail Contractors, TMS Ltd. These works are detailed as annual barrier testing and inspections at the Grimsby Town Center level crossings.
The Order will come into operation on Tuesday, 13 October 2020, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Sunday, 18 October 2020. Definitive dates and times will be notified by press release and on-site advanced warning signs.
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online at: One Network and Public notices.
