AUGUST LEVEL CROSSING CLOSURES, GRIMSBY
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 21-086 / LA 104326 / LA 104327 / LA 106631) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council have made, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, from PROCEEDING along or STOPPING on the below sections of highway:
DAYTIME CLOSURE – 25th August from 23:00 – 0:00hrs
- A section of GILBEY ROAD– Part Length from its junction with MOODY LANE to its junction with ESTUARY WAY
Alternative route: MOODY LANE, WOAD LANE, ESTATE ROAD No3, A180 PYEWIPE ROUNDABOUT GILBEY ROAD
OVERNIGHT CLOSURE – 29th August from 0:00 – 06:00hrs 30th August
- A section of WOAD LANE– Part Length from its junction with STATION ROAD to its junction with HOLME FARM CLOSE
Alternative route: STATION ROAD, A11136 GREAT COATES ROAD, A180 EB, PYEWIPE ROUNDABOUT, ESTATE ROAD No5, WOAD LANE
OVERNIGHT CLOSURE – 4th September from 23:00 – 06:00hrs 5th September and 14:00 18th September – 14:00hrs 26th September
- A section of ROWLANDSON STREET– Part Length from its junction with MURRAY STREET to its junction with RIBY SQUARE
Alternative route: FISH DOCK ROAD, EASTSIDE ROAD, ROYAL STREET, LOCKHILL ROAD, A180 EB, CLEETHORPE ROAD, RIBY SQUARE
This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by Network Rail Contractors. These works are detailed as annual inspections, repair and maintenance to the level crossings.
The Order will come into operation on Wednesday, 25 August 2021, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Friday, 27 August 2021. Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
