Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (TTRO 20-112) – Gilbey Road Cycleway, Grimsby

A SECTION OF GILBEY ROAD CYCLEWAY, GRIMSBY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 20-112 ORDER 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrian or cycle from proceeding along the below sections of highway:

A section of GILBEY ROAD CYCLEWAY – Part Length commencing 386 meters from the junction with GILBEY ROAD in a westerly direction to its junction with ESTATE ROAD 2

Alternative route: CONTINUE ALONG THE CYCLEWAY TO GILBEY ROAD NORTH, ACROSS PYEWIPE ROUNDABOUT, ESTATE ROAD 2

This temporary prohibition is requited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by North East Lincolnshire Council.  These works are detailed as vegetation removal.

The Order will come into operation on Tuesday, 08 September 2020, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport.  The closure is expected to remain in place until Tuesday, 08 September 2020.

The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances.  Diversion routes will be signposted and published online at One Network and our Public Notices.
