TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC– TTRO 21-027E
NOTICE OF EMERGENCY ORDER 2021
WHEREAS the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”), in exercise of its powers under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 hereby make the following Emergency Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to proceed along the below sections of highway:
A SECTION OF WASHDYKE LANE – From its junction with PELHAM ROAD to its junction with BEECHWOOD AVE.
Alternative route: WASHDYKE LANE, CHURCH LANE, BLUESTONE LANE, PELHAM ROAD, this emergency prohibition is required because of a burst water main in the carriageway.
The Interpretation Act 1978 shall apply in the interpretation of the Order as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
The Order shall come into operation on Tuesday, 19 January 2021 and shall continue for a period of 21 days unless extended by Order of the Secretary of State for Transport. The closure is expected to remain in place until Friday, 22 January 2021.
No exemptions will be made for this order.
The Order may be cited as “The North East Lincolnshire Borough Council, Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14(1), A Section of Washdyke Lane, Immingham, (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic– TTRO 21-027E), Notice Of Emergency Order 2021”.
This Order is executed by North East Lincolnshire Borough Council.
