A16 PEAKS PARKWAY (PART CLOSURE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 22-008) ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian or cycle from PROCEEDING along or STOPPING on the below sections of highway:
- A section of A16 PEAKS PARKWAY (NORTHBOUND CARRIAGEWAY ONLY) – Part Length from its junction with WELHOLME ROAD to its junction with A1136 FREDERICK WARD WAY / ELLIS WAY
Alternative route: A46 WEELSBY ROAD, A1243 BARGATE, A1136 DEANSGATE, A1136 FREDERICK WARD WAY
This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by North East Lincolnshire Council. These works are detailed as the demolition of buildings adjacent to the highway. The closure of the northbound carriageway is required to protect the safety of the public.
The Order will come into operation on Sunday, 20 February 2022, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Sunday, 20 February 2022. Definitive dates and times will be notified by press release and on-site advanced warning signs.
