VARIOUS LOCATIONS – THE MICRO ASPHALT PROGRAMME 2024 (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND TTRO 23-194) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be:

a) that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway during the dates and times detailed below:

The following works are programmed to take place from 18 March 2024 to 19 March 2024.

  • KESGRAVE STREET – FULL EXTENT
  • CARNARVON AVENUE – FULL EXTENT
  • NORTH STREET – FULL EXTENT
  • TRINITY STREET – (PART LENGTH) – from the junction of A180 CLEETHORPES ROAD to the property boundary south of CONSTELLATION COLD LOGISTICS for a distance of 40 metres
  • HOPE STREET – (PART LENGTH) – from the junction of OXFORD STREET heading in a southerly direction to the property boundary of 21 HOPE STREET

The following works are programmed to take place on the 18 March 2024 to the 20 March 2024.

  • SOUTH VIEW – FULL EXTENT

The following works are programmed to take place on the 19 March 2024 to the 20 March 2024.

  • RICHARDSON CLOSE – FULL EXTENT
  • PRIORS CLOSE – FULL EXTENT
  • MARGARET PLACE – FULL EXTENT
  • PRETYMEN CRESCENT – (PART LENGTH) – from the junction of MARGARET PLACE heading in a south westerly direction to the junction of RUTLAND DRIVE

The following works are programmed to take place from the 20 March 2024 to 22 March 2024.

  • BARCROFT STREET – (PART LENGTH) – from the junction of HARRINGTON STREET heading in a south westerly direction to the junction of BRERETON AVENUE
  • TIVERTON STREET – (PART LENGTH) – from the junction of HARRINGTON STREET heading in a south westerly direction to the junction of BRERETON AVENUE

The following works are programmed to take place from the 20 March 2024 to 23 March 2024.

  • LOVETT STREET – (PART LENGTH) – from the junction of A180 GRIMSBY ROAD heading in a south westerly direction to the junction of FREESTON STREET

The following works are programmed to take place from the 21 March 2024 to 24 March 2024.

  • FAIRVIEW AVENUE – FULL EXTENT
  • ST MARY’S CLOSE – FULL EXTENT

The following works are programmed to take place from the 22 March 2024 to 26 March 2024.

  • MOORLAND DRIVE – FULL EXTENT
  • THESIGER STREET – FULL EXTENT

The above temporary prohibitions are required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by North East Lincolnshire Council . These works are detailed as Highway Maintenance – Carriageway Resurfacing.

The Order will come into operation on Monday, 18 March 2024, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). Works will be phased as per the dates provided above, with road closures expected to remain in place until Friday, 05 April 2024. Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.

The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
