BROADWAY, GRIMSBY
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 24-066) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:
Phase one – Tarmac re-instatement of the rain gardens along the verges on Broadway,
Works are scheduled to take place week commencing 22nd July 24.
BROADWAY- Part length from the junction of B1444 LITTLE COATES ROAD heading in a westerly direction to the junction of ST IVES CRESCENT.
Alternative route: B1444 Little Coates Road, St Michaels Road, Evesham Avenue.
Phase two – Tarmac re-instatement of the rain gardens along the verges on Broadway
Works are scheduled to take place week commencing 22nd July 24.
BROADWAY – Part length between the two junctions of ST IVES CRESCENT – a distance of 200 metres.
Alternative route: B1444 Little Coates Road, St Michaels Road, Evesham Avenue.
Phase three – Carriageway Resurfacing
Works are scheduled to take place week commencing 26th August 24.
BROADWAY – Part length from the junction of ST IVES CRESCENT heading in a south westerly direction to the junction of PERSHORE AVENUE, for a distance of 280 metres.
Alternative route: B1444 Little Coates Road, St Michaels Road, Pershore Avenue.
This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by NELC. These works are detailed as NELC Drainage scheme.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 22 July, 2024, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Saturday 31 August, 2024. Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
