THE NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1)(B) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be to impose a temporary Clearway on the roads detailed in Schedule 1 from Monday 21 December 2020:-
This temporary prohibition is required to ensure the safety of all road users of the highway. Exemptions will be for the following authorised vehicles only:
- Local Authority Vehicles (ENGIE/ NELC)
- Emergency Vehicles (Fire, Police, Ambulance, Coast Guard)
- Authorised Contractors / Utilities / Waste
The Order will come into operation at 00:01hrs on Monday 21 December 2020 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport.
