Tip your Christmas rubbish: our recycling centres are open!

11:00 am, Friday, 27th December 2024 - 4 months ago

Bins, waste and recycling

North East Lincolnshire Council’s two Community Recycling Centres (CRCs) are open every day between Christmas and New Year.

A reminder to people that Grimsby’s Centre on Estuary Way, Pyewipe Industrial Estate, and Immingham’s on Queens Road are both open again tomorrow (Thursday 28 December) as normal from 8am until 6pm – and that is the case apart from New Year’s Day when they are closed.

If you have any excess recycling or general waste and no space in your bin, make sure to take it to the tip. Please remember, if you have large amounts of cardboard, it should be taken to Grimsby tip.

If you visit Grimsby’s you can look forward to seeing the festive displays (pictured), made by the resourceful staff, who create great figures out of the items taken there by residents!
