Following the recent Government announcement, Grimsby Top Town Market, located in the Bull Ring at Grimsby Town Centre, will remain open and continue to offer essential items for local people in North East Lincolnshire.
The following nine traders are selling essential items such as meat, fruit and vegetables, fish and eggs, and remain open while adhering to Government guidelines on face coverings and social distancing:

Councillor Philip Jackson, Leader and portfolio holder for regeneration, skills and housing at North East Lincolnshire Council, said: “As a council, we’re committed to continuing to provide our essential services throughout this lockdown, as we did in the first lockdown.
“Keeping our spend local during this time is vital to support our businesses and traders. If we all follow the guidance, we can shop safely. A number of traders are taking telephone orders or offering a delivery service for people who would rather have their groceries delivered.”
Cllr Jackson added: “I would like to thank the Top Town Market shoppers for adhering to all of the measures put in place so far and allowing us and the traders to remain open for the local community throughout the pandemic.”
Grimsby Top Town Market has reduced its opening hours due to COVID-19 and is currently open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 9am and 3pm.
