North East Lincolnshire Council and its delivery partner, Equans, are providing you an update on the urgent utility works on Bargate.
Cadent Gas is the last utility company to carry out urgent works on Bargate. They will start on Tuesday 2 April and will finish on Tuesday 23 April.
During this time, temporary traffic signals will be in place 24hrs at the junction of Bargate and Dudley Street. The footway will be closed and diversions will be in place. The bus stop on Dudley Street will still be temporarily suspended. The traffic signals here will be manually controlled to help ease congestion during peak times 7am-7pm.
These urgent works are taking place to relocate existing assets in preparation for junction realignment and traffic signal improvement works in Summer 2024.
