Children and families

QUEENSWAY Family Hub is the latest hub to offer the service which allows new parents the local option of registering their new-born baby.

The service is already available across the Nunsthorpe, West Marsh, East Marsh and Immingham hubs and has been utilised by families since it was introduced in February 2024.

Appointments can be booked from January 2nd 2025 with the first appointment taking place on Tuesday 7th January at the Queensway Hub.

Birth registrations have been offered in local Family Hubs from February this year, with over 400 babies registered in Hubs since then.

The service has been seen as a more convenient option, saving families travelling to Cleethorpes Town Hall where registrations have traditionally been carried out.

To book your appointment and to find out what documents you will need for your visit, see www.nelincs.gov.uk/register-a-birth.
