Review of polling districts, polling places and polling stations 2026
North East Lincolnshire Council is reviewing its polling districts, polling places and polling stations to ensure arrangements remain suitable, accessible and convenient for electors.
The review focuses on creating new polling districts for Immingham Town Council, following boundary changes agreed through the Parish Council Community Governance Review in March 2024. These changes include a north and south split along Pelham Road and must be reflected in the electoral register published on 1 December 2026.
Comments are also welcomed on polling arrangements across the borough, including any issues with accessibility, suitability of venues or alternative arrangements that may better support voters, polling staff and the Returning Officer.
The Council report detailing the purpose and background to the review can be found here: Council 30th July 2026.

Proposed Polling Districts
The Electoral Registration Officer has proposed four options for the new Polling Districts in the Immingham Ward, all of which follow Electoral Commission guidance.
The button below takes you to an interactive map showing the four proposed polling district options for Immingham. Select an option from the list to view it, and the map boundaries will update automatically. You can also zoom in for a clearer view of the districts.
This map shows the new Town Council boundaries being implemented on 1st December 2026.
While the final proposal may differ from these options, it must comply with the established guidance on natural boundaries and the requirement for each Town Council Ward to form its own polling district.
