Transferring to Secondary School – September 2019
If your child is currently in Year 6 your child will be transferring to secondary school in September 2019. If you applied through the online Citizens Portal decisions regarding your on-time application will be issued by a system generated email on the morning of 1 March 2019. If you applied using a paper application form your letter will be posted on 1 March 2019.
Please note that the school admissions team is available online or by telephone to offer impartial advice and guidance. However they will not make parents or carers aware of their allocation decision via telephone conversations or personal email.
For those pupils for whom an on-time application has not been received, or pupils who wish to change their applications, their application will be considered at the second allocation on 29 March 2019.

Starting school for the first time
If your child was born between 1st September 2014 and 31 August 2015 your child is eligible to start school in September 2019. The closing date for the first round of allocation was 15th January 2019.
On-time applicants will be notified of their allocated school place by email (Citizen Portal applications only) or by letter, issued on 16th April 2019. Late applications received by 30th April will be processed in the second round of allocation mid-May. Applications made after this date will be processed as and when received, following the second allocation.

Transfer of pupils from infant to junior school
If your child is currently in year 2 at a North East Lincolnshire infant school; Queen Mary Avenue Infant and Nursery School, Scartho Infants’ School and Nursery or Signhills Infants’ Academy, your child will be transferring to a junior school in September 2019. The closing date for the first round of allocation was 15th January 2019.
On-time applicants will be notified of their allocated school place by email (Citizen Portal applications only) or by letter, issued on 16th April 2019. Late applications will be processed after this date.
