Emergency road closure on Little Coates Road (23 Feb ’21)

An emergency road closure is in place on Little Coates Road between the Trawl roundabout and the Little Coates and Cambridge Road roundabout due to the collapse of a tree.

The road closure will be in place until 6pm tonight (23 Feb 2021). The Police attended site this morning to support with the road closure, a contractor will be attending later today to remove the tree.

The collapsed tree was not one of the protected ones in the area and investigations to understand why it collapsed are underway. It is thought not to be in relation to the ongoing junction improvement scheme.
