North East Lincolnshire Council wants your views on how it spends £800,000 refurbishing and upgrading its play parks during the next three years.

The investment is for children’s play equipment and the Council wants to know which parks people are using and where it should focus its efforts.

Funding was approved at full council on 18 February to support people’s health and well-being and to recognise the value placed in the area’s parks and open spaces.

Complete the survey at https://playparks2021.questionpro.eu/. The survey closes on Wednesday 6 October.

North East Lincolnshire Council aims to improve the quality of its play parks to make sure children of all abilities can enjoy good quality playgrounds across the borough.

Councillor Stewart Swinburn, portfolio holder for environment and transport, said:

“We want to improve our play parks so more children can stay safe, active and enjoy playing outdoors.

“Parks and play areas are cherished by many and bring health and social benefits to the wider community.

“Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and help shape how we invest in our play areas for the next three years.”
