THE NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(a)

HUMBERSTONE ROAD, FAIRMONT ROAD AND COLUMBIA ROAD
(TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 22-019) ORDER 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:

  • A section of HUMBERSTONE ROAD – Part Length from its junction with DURBAN ROAD to a point 26 metres south-east of its junction with DURBAN ROAD.

Alternative route: DURBAN ROAD, CARR LANE, RUNSWICK ROAD, HUMBERSTONE ROAD

  • A section of COLUMBIA ROAD – Part Length from its junction with HUMBERSTONE ROAD to a point 20 metres north-east of its junction with HUMBERSTONE ROAD.

Alternative route: HUMBERSTONE ROAD, FAIRMONT ROAD, ROBERTS STREET, COLUMBIA ROAD

  • A section of FAIRMONT ROAD – Part Length from its junction with HUMBERSTONE ROAD to a point 32 metres north-east of its junction with HUMBERSTONE ROAD.

Alternative route: HUMBERSTONE ROAD, COOPER ROAD, ROBERTS STREET, FAIRMONT ROAD

This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by North East Lincolnshire Council.  These works are detailed as installation of raised table, road markings, tactile crossing points and paving.

The Order will come into operation on Monday, 28 March 2022, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Friday, 15 April 2022.  Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.

The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online at: One Network and NELC Public Notices.
