(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND TEMPORARY ONE-WAY TRAFFIC FLOW – TTRO 22-087) ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be:
a) that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway during the dates and times detailed below:
Monday 12th September to Saturday 17th September 2022 – Overnight Road Closure between 19:00hrs and 06:00hrs
- A section of A46 LACEBY ROAD, GRIMSBY – Part Length from its junction with STEPHEN CRESCENT to its junction with WINCHESTER AVENUE.
Alternative route: A46 LACEBY ROAD, LITTLECOATES ROAD, CAMBRIDGE ROAD, CHELMSFORD AVENUE, A46 LACEBY ROAD (reverse route applies)
Thursday 15th September to Friday 16th September 2022 – Overnight Road Closure between 19:00hrs and 06:00hrs
- A section of A16 PEAKS PARKWAY, GRIMSBY – Part Length from its roundabout junction with A1098 HEWITTS AVENUE to its junction with A46 WEELSBY ROAD.
Alternative route: A46 WEELSBY ROAD, A1031 HUMBERSTON ROAD, A1098 HEWITTS AVENUE (reverse route applies)
Tuesday 20th September to Thursday 22nd September 2022 – Overnight Road Closure between 19:00hrs and 06:00hrs
- A section of WALTHAM ROAD, BARNOLDBY LE BECK – Part Length from its roundabout junction with BRADLEY ROAD / WALTHAM ROAD (WALTHAM) to its junction with WILLOW PARK.
Alternative route: BRADLEY ROAD, A46 LACEBY ROAD, A46 GRIMSBY ROAD, A18 BARTON STREET, WALTHAM ROAD (BARNOLDBY LE BECK) (reverse route applies)
Saturday 24th September 2022 – Overnight Road Closure between 19:00hrs and 06:00hrs
- A section of WEELSBY STREET, GRIMSBY – Part Length from its junction with A180 CLEETHORPE ROAD to its junction with THOROLD STREET.

Saturday 24th September 2022 – Overnight Road Closure between 18:00hrs and 06:00hrs
- TRINITY STREET, GRIMSBY – Full extent.

Thursday 22nd September to Monday 26th September 2022 – 24hr Road Closure
- A section of ESTATE ROAD 6, GRIMSBY – Part Length at the Bellmouth of its junction with ESTATE ROAD 5.

Monday 26th September to Wednesday 28th September 2022 – Overnight Road Closure between 19:00hrs and 06:00hrs
- A section of ESTATE ROAD 5, GRIMSBY – Part Length from its junction with WOAD LANE to its junction with ESTATE ROAD 6.

Monday 03rd October to Wednesday 05th October 2022 – Overnight Road Closure between 19:00hrs and 06:00hrs
- A section of GRANVILLE STREET, GRIMSBY – Part Length from its junction with LADYSMITH ROAD up to and including its junction with CONVAMORE ROAD.

Monday 17th October to Wednesday 19th October 2022 – Overnight Road Closure between 19:00hrs and 06:00hrs
- OSBORNE STREET, GRIMSBY – Full extent, from its junction with DOUGHTY ROAD to its intersection with SOUTH ST MARYS GATE.
- Full extent, from its intersection with OSBORNE STREET to its intersection with BETHLEHEM STREET.
Alternative route 1: BETHLEHEM STREET, CHURCH LANE, FREDERICK WARD WAY, VICTORIA STREET SOUTH, TOWN HALL STREET, TOWN HALL SQUARE.
Alternative route 2: TOWN HALL SQUARE, EAST STREET, PASTURE STREET, HAINTON AVENUE, ELLIS WAY, FREDERICK WARD WAY, CHURCH LANE, BETHLEHEM STREET
Tuesday 20th September to Wednesday 21st September 2022
- A section of WEELSBY STREET, GRIMSBY – Part Length from its junction with A180 CLEETHORPE ROAD to its junction with THOROLD STREET.
Alternative route (SOUTHBOUND): THOROLD STREET, HUMBER STREET, A180 CLEETHORPE ROAD
The above temporary prohibitions are required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by North East Lincolnshire Council . These works are detailed as Highway Maintenance – Carriageway Resurfacing.
The Order will come into operation on Monday, 12 September 2022, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). Works will be phased as per the dates provided above, with road closures expected to remain in place until Wednesday, 19 October 2022. Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
