Our ambition is to create space for people and businesses to grow and thrive, creating stronger communities and a stronger economy. We look ahead to the future through our Council Plan, our Economic Strategy, and our local Masterplans for Grimsby and Cleethorpes, created with input from local people and businesses.

By investing in our future, creating new public spaces for people to enjoy being in, building houses that people want to live in, creating space for businesses, creating places for our young people to meet, and by developing our highway and transport infrastructure, we will help our community to grow.

Having fun and living healthy, happy and fulfilled lives. This is what we want for our residents and our aim is to grow North East Lincolnshire as a healthier place where activity becomes ‘the norm’. Working with national and local organisations, we will help develop North East Lincolnshire’s places to promote sport and cultural activities.

We know Cleethorpes has it all – a great beach, wonderful views, good shops and cafes and, importantly, lots of visitors. These visits boost our economy and bring with them thousands of job opportunities for local people. We will continue to support development that offers great leisure and entertainment.
