Plans for carriageway resurfacing and road markings works on Pelham Road, between Habrough Road and Washdyke Lane, have been postponed due to the cold weather.
The cancellation dates for the overnight road closures are detailed below:
- Thursday 30 November – Road closure between Habrough Road and Thornton Place.
- Friday 1 December – Road closure between Thornton Place and Washdyke Lane.
- Monday 4 December and Tuesday 5 December – Road closure between Habrough Road and Washdyke Lane.
The works will resume when conditions are suitable for the surfacing operation and the contractor will be regularly checking the weather forecast to enable swift reprogramming of the works when suitable temperatures are forecast.
The Council, Equans and contractor EC Surfacing Ltd would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience this has caused.
