(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRN 25-025E) EMERGENCY NOTICE 2025

WHEREAS the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”), in exercise of its powers under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 hereby make the following Emergency Notice the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle, pedestrian and cycle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:

  • ARCHER LANE – Part length from the junction of TURNBERRY APPROACH heading
    in a northerly direction, for a distance of 20 metres.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Archer Road, Turnberry Approach (reverse route applies)

This emergency prohibition is required in order for Anglian Water to repair a leaking main.

The Interpretation Act 1978 shall apply in the interpretation of the Notice as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

The Notice shall come into operation on Monday, 10 February 2025 and shall continue for a period of 21 days unless extended by Order of the Secretary of State for Transport. The closure is expected to remain in place until Thursday 13th February 2025.
