(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – TTRO 24-159E)
EMERGENCY NOTICE 2024
WHEREAS the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”), in exercise of its powers under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 hereby make the following Emergency Notice the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway:
- HENEAGE ROAD- from the junction of ELEANOR STREET heading in a south westerly direction, for a distance of 30 metres.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Eleanor Street, Convamore Road. Pasture Street, Heneage Road
ALTERNATiVE ROUTE 2: Eleanor Street, Convamore Road, Wellington Street, Heneage Road
This emergency prohibition is required in order for Anglian Water to repair a burst water main.
The Interpretation Act 1978 shall apply in the interpretation of the Notice as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
The Notice shall come into operation on Tuesday, 26 November 2024 and shall continue for a period of 21 days unless extended by Order of the Secretary of State for Transport. The closure is expected to remain in place until Friday 29th November 2024.
