North East Lincolnshire residents have until Friday 24 July to register to Switch Together and explore ways to save money on their energy bills.
Formerly known as Solar Together, the scheme has helped thousands of households across the UK save money and reduce their carbon footprint—and now, it’s expanding to include solar panels, battery storage, heat pumps, and smarter energy tariffs.
Les Gagg used the service last year and shared: “Signing up to Solar Together was an easy decision. I felt that buying as part of a group would be more cost-effective instead of going it alone. The quotation process was very straightforward, and the price was very competitive compared to other options available at the time.
“The installer was very professional and the whole experience was positive from start to finish. Since having the solar panels installed, we’ve been grid-free since April and expect that to continue for several months. We’re saving more than £100 a month on our energy bills, which is a huge benefit, especially as energy prices continue to rise.
“I would absolutely recommend Solar Together to anyone considering solar panels. My advice would be to go for it, and install as many panels as you can afford, along with at least two batteries if possible. If you want to save money on your energy bills, it’s definitely worth considering.”
Switch Together consolidates multiple green home upgrade services under one name, making it simpler for residents to explore sustainable options and take control of their energy use. By joining the scheme, households can benefit from:
- Comprehensive Green Home Solutions – Solar panels, battery storage, heat pumps, and energy tariffs in a single programme.
- Expert Guidance – Support from registration through installation, ensuring residents make informed decisions for their homes.
- Group-Buying Savings – Reduced costs thanks to community-scale purchasing power.
- Reliable, Sustainable Energy – High-quality installations from vetted suppliers that help cut carbon emissions.
