Households across our borough are this week receiving an updated booklet from the Council about COVID-19.

The booklet, which was written before the lockdown, contains details on the guidance to keep you and loved ones safe as well as contact details for places to get support if you’re struggling.

In an opening letter to all households, Councillor Philip Jackson, Leader of North East Lincolnshire Council, Dr Peter Melton, Chief Clinical Officer, North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group, and Stephen Pintus, Director for Public Health, North East Lincolnshire Council, said:

“As we start to enter the winter period, we’re writing again to all households in our borough with a useful update on the fight against the virus, as well as a reminder of the national guidance that is helping to keep people safe.

“We know that many people are worried about COVID-19 and that this pandemic has had a huge impact on our lives. If you are feeling low or anxious, please know that you are not alone and that there are organisations there to help.

“Nobody is immune to the effects of the virus. Very sadly, people of all ages have fallen victim to the effects of COVID-19.

“By continuing to stick to the Government guidance, we are protecting ourselves and our loved ones.”

The booklets are hitting doormats from this week.
