THE NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
A1031 HUMBERSTON ROAD (CLEETHORPES)
(TEMPORARY SPEED LIMIT REDUCTION – TTRO 24-058) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect which will be a temporary speed limit reduction from 40mph to 30mph along the below sections of highway:
- A section of A1031 HUMBERSTON ROAD – Part length from the junction of ASHRIDGE DRIVE heading in a south easterly direction to the junction of BRIAN AVENUE.
This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by JNP Group. These works are detailed as to allow for the construction accesses into the beacon academy grounds from A1031 Humberston Road. The reduction in speed will provide safer working conditions due to the increase in HGV movements as a result of the works.
The Order will come into operation on Monday, 10 June 2024, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport. The temporary speed limit is expected to remain in place until Wednesday, 26 November 2025.
The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
A copy of the sealed Temporary Traffic Regulation Order may be inspected online via North East Lincolnshire Council’s website by searching ‘Temporary TRO’, or go to Traffic regulation orders.
For further information, telephone JNP Group – 07510540706 for an explanation of the changes.
