Venues for your ceremony

You can get married at any venue which is licenced for civil marriage ceremonies.

Ceremonies are available to book Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 4pm. There is a non-refundable booking fee of £57.50.

Number of seats available for guests do have to include any children and babies attending.

Cleethorpes Town Hall

There are three rooms available at Cleethorpes Town Hall.

Register Office

This room will accommodate you, your partner and two witnesses only. If you’d like to invite more guests you will need to book either the Croft Baker Ceremony Room or the Council Chamber.

This room is available Tuesday to Thursday at 9am for £46.

Croft Baker ceremony room

Seating for 22 guests, which doesn’t include you, your partner and two witnesses.

Available to book on a:

  • Tuesday to Thursday – £129
  • Friday – £165
  • Saturday – £403
  • Sunday or a Bank Holiday – £540

Council Chamber

Seating for 60 guests, which doesn’t include you, your partner and two witnesses.

Available to book on a:

  • Tuesday to Thursday – £305
  • Friday – £361
  • Saturday – £480
  • Sunday or a Bank Holiday – £540

Please note this room is located on the 1st floor, and lift access may not always be available.

Grimsby Town Hall

Bremerhaven Room

Seating for 50 guests, which doesn’t include you, your partner and two witnesses.

Available to book on a:

  • Monday to Thursday – £279
  • Friday – £320
  • Saturday – £423
  • Sunday or a Bank Holiday – £485

Witnesses

Your two witnesses can be a relative or a friend but they must be over the age of 16, and they must understand and sign to confirm they have witnessed your ceremony. Witnesses are not allowed to take photographs or videos during the ceremony.
