Free late-night parking this Christmas at Abbey Walk Car Park in Grimsby

Let’s make shopping with local businesses easier this year with free parking during late-night shopping at Freshney Place.

Free parking will be available between 6pm and 8.30pm at Abbey Walk Car Park on the following days:

• Thursday 1 December
• Thursday 8 December
• Thursday 15 December
• Thursday 22 December
• Friday 23 December

Abbey Walk Car Park, managed by Equans, is usually open until 7pm on weekdays, but during late-night shopping, this will be extended until 8.30pm and will be completely free for the last 2.5 hours. Make the most out of your shopping and take advantage of this free parking.

Councillor Stewart Swinburn, portfolio holder for environment and transport, said: “We’re delighted to be offering free late-night parking again to encourage more people to shop locally at Freshney Place and surrounding businesses in the run-up to Christmas. I hope this offer encourages people to shop local and support our businesses.”
