Parking with PayByPhone

PayByPhone offers motorists an alternative way to pay from the pay and display machines, by paying with your mobile phone. This service is available in all our North East Lincolnshire car parks.

Once registered and set up, the app provides a simple cashless solution for car parking and provides further benefits such as the ability to extend parking without returning to a payment machine.

Drivers still have the option to pay by coin and card at most machines if they prefer.

PayByPhone service also includes:

  • Optional SMS reminders and receipts
  • Email receipts
  • VAT receipts
  • Countdown timer on the app
  • The option to extend parking (within parking restrictions)
  • Multiple vehicles and cards added on to one account

It’s best to register for PayByPhone before you first use it. You can also register when you park. Register using one of the methods below:

If you don’t have access to the internet, phone 0330 400 7275.

There’s a 20p service charge for each transaction. There are other optional charges for additional message alerts and receipts. The option for these can be changed in the default settings.

The PayByPhone service is secure and meets the highest level of security for processing payments. If you are not using the PayByPhone App but instead using the website, please be vigilant to the potential for scam websites masquerading as PayByPhone.

Note, PayByPhone will never ask you for a payment until you have selected a parking location, duration, and vehicle registration number. The correct web address is: paybyphone.co.uk. PayByPhone has further information on avoiding scams on its website.

An automated telephone number is also provided – 0330 400 7275 – for users to call and pay for parking if they prefer. Simply use the reference number provided at the location to identify the car park location. Ensure you check the location number when confirming your pay session and take care to enter the correct vehicle registration number.

  • No need to worry about having the right change on you
  • No need to go on the hunt for the nearest Pay and Display machine
  • No need to display a ticket in your vehicle
  • Get text message reminders sent to your phone before your parking runs out
  • No need to rush back to your vehicle – you can extend your parking session from your phone
