NEW FIBRE BROADBAND CONNECTION WORKS – B1213 HAINTON AVENUE AND SURROUNDING STREETS

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & ONE-WAY TRAFFIC FLOW – TTRO 21-130) ORDER 2021

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order, the effect of which will be:

a) that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle from PROCEEDING along or STOPPING on the below sections of highway:

• A section of SIXHILLS STREET – Part Length from its junction with B1213 HAINTON AVENUE to its junction with HENEAGE ROAD.
  • ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: HENEAGE ROAD, PASTURE STREET, B1213 HAINTON AVENUE.
  • ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B1213 HAINTON AVENUE, TASBURGH STREET, HENEAGE ROAD
  • ALTERNATIVE ROUTE 1: WILLINGHAM STREET, WINTRINGHAM ROAD, B1213 HAINTON AVENUE
  • ALTERNATIVE ROUTE 2: B1213 HAINTON AVENUE, SIXHILLS STREET, WILLINGHAM STREET
  • ALTERNATIVE ROUTE 1: PASTURE STREET, B1213 HAINTON AVENUE, SIXHILLS STREET

  • ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: WILLINGHAM STREET, PASTURE STREET, B1213 HAINTON AVENUE, BRADLEY STREET, EASTGATE, ROBINSON STREET EAST
  • ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: WILLINGHAM STREET, PASTURE STREET, B1213 HAINTON AVENUE, BRADLEY STREET, EASTGATE, ROBINSON STREET EAST (Due to the length of road concerned, works will be undertaken in 60 metre phasing to minimise disruption to local residents. Access and parking will be reinstated at the end of each day)
  • ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: SIXHILLS STREET, SHEEPFOLD STREET, PASTURE STREET
  • ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: SIXHILLS STREET, EDWARD STREET, PASTURE STREET, HENEAGE ROAD

  • ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: ROPERY STREET, LADYSMITH ROAD, SIXHILLS STREET
  • ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: HENEAGE ROAD, SIXHILLS STREET, B1213 HAINTON AVENUE
  • ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B1213 HAINTON AVENUE, ELLIS WAY, A16 PEAKS PARKWAY, B1212 WELHOLME ROAD, B1213 HAINTON AVENUE.
  • ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: DURBAN ROAD, HUMBERSTONE ROAD, ELEANOR STREET, CONVAMORE ROAD.
• A section of CATHERINE STREET – Part Length at its junction with WILLINGHAM STREET. TEMPORARY OBSTRUCTION 15 MINUTE DELAY, ACCESS ONLY.
  • ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B1213 HAINTON AVENUE, CATHERINE STREET, WILLINGHAM STREET.

This above temporary road closures are required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road by TELEC UTILITIES LTD.  These works are detailed as excavation to facilitate the installation of two-way poly duct across the carriageway for new fibre optic broadband.

b) that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway otherwise than in a northerly direction:

• A section of WILLINGHAM STREET – Part length from its junction with CATHERINE STREET to its junction with SIXHILLS STREET.

The above temporary alteration to traffic flow is necessary to facilitate an effective diversion route for works programmed on SIXHILLS STREET, between the junction of WILLINGHAM STREET and B1213 HAINTON AVENUE.

The above measures will be phased in order to minimise disruption to the public. Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.

The Order will come into operation on Monday, 20 December 2021, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). The closure is expected to remain in place until Saturday, 30 April 2022.

The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Diversion routes will be signposted and published online on One Network and Public notices.
