Direct debit

Direct debit is the easiest way to pay your business rates. To set up a direct debit you can either:

phone us on 01472 326287 – To do this you need to be the bank account holder and the bill must be in your name
print and complete the Direct debit form (PDF, 149KB) and either send it by post to the address on the form or email it to [email protected]

Pay online

To pay Business Rates online complete the online payment form.

You will need your account reference number and debit or credit card details.

The amount shown when you enter your reference will be the total balance on your account and not always the amount that is due. You can manually enter the amount you need to pay at this time.

Pay by phone

To pay by telephone call 01472 326222 any time of the day, and pay by debit or credit card.

You must have your account reference number and card details to do this.

Other ways to pay

To pay this way you need to take your bill to a post office or pay point shop. A full list of pay point shops can be found on the allpay website.

Please keep your receipt as proof of payment.

You must arrange this with your own bank.

Payment due dates

There are two payment dates possible for cash or direct debit:

Monthly payments are made on either the 1st or 15th of the month.

New payments are usually set up for the 1st of the month. To change this please contact the business rates team.

Notices will be issued if payment is not received by the due date. If you do not pay on time the option to pay by instalments may be taken away.
