Local Government Association Corporate Peer Challenge

In November 2022, North East Lincolnshire Council welcomed a Peer Challenge team from the Local Government Association (LGA) to look at how we work strategically as an organisation.  To have a team of Elected Members and senior officers to look at and assess the way you do things is incredibly useful.  The Peer Challenge team spent three days at North East Lincolnshire Council during which they spoke to more than 190 people including Elected Members, staff and external stakeholders.

The team made a series of recommends of what we can do to improve the way we operate. You can view their suggestions in the Corporate Peer Challenge report.

In November 2023, the Peer Challenge Team returned for another visit to look at progress made against our action plan.
