Mollie is a student with the Adult Learning Provision at Franklin College, studying lots of different courses including Paediatric First Aid and Level 1 Makaton. Mollie has Special Educational Needs and uses a wheelchair, and wants to work with young people with SEND in the future.

Lithuanian-born Skye Gizaite attended Grimsby Learning Centre and achieved her English functional skills qualification from Entry 3 to Level 2. Now, she can enrol on a Counselling and Psychology course to reach her plans. Staff at the Learning Centre praised Skye for working exceptionally hard and always being cheerful!

Carolynn started the Me-Learning course to become more confident in herself and her abilities. after losing her job. Though she was extremely anxious coming onto the course, Carolyn progressed and began attending other career support sessions and completed her first-aid training. She will be starting Franklin College in September!

Evie contacted Care Plus Group to undertake her First Aid at Work training whilst on a gap year. Through discussions with their Employability Services, Evie explored different career paths and found her role as a Support Worker. She is doing very well and has just secured a job as an Employability Job Coach herself!
