How to apply

Applying is simple:

Search the current vacancies. Each advert includes contact details if you need help or have any questions. Get to know us, read our Council Plan and get to know the service area you are applying for.

Apply online by setting up an account, complete the application form, and upload your documents. You’ll get a confirmation email once it’s submitted.

Every application is checked against the job description and role profile. If you’re shortlisted, we’ll invite you to interview.

Check the date, time and location. We’ll send you the questions the day before to help you prepare and feel confident. We’ll let you know the outcome as soon as possible.

Our Health, Safety and Wellbeing team offer a wealth of support to keep you healthy, safe and well. The wellbeing team provide a confidential, one-to-one service to any employees who are struggling with any aspect of their wellbeing. They provide advice, information and guidance to work and non-work-related problems.
