The Mayoral election for the Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority, (GLCCA) will be held on Thursday 1 May, following the authority’s formation and first meeting earlier this year.
The newly established body has taken on devolved powers from the government to shape a better future for Lincolnshire and its residents.
It is responsible for driving economic growth, improving roads, infrastructure, and transport, together with creating new job opportunities for residents and businesses. By bringing decision-making closer to local people, the authority will ensure that funding and resources are used effectively to deliver real benefits.
